
The course Registered Education Savings Plans (RESPs) - An Explanation covers RESP plans in great detail. From the accumulation phase, to the taxation of withdrawals, those taking the course will learn a lot more than the basics.
In addition users will learn about the options available when no beneficiary attends post-secondary education (including what is required to undertake a rollover to an RDSP) and about the various additional grants available to those who qualify. In order to complete this course, you will need to receive a mark of 6 out of 10 or higher on the final quiz. This course qualifies for the following continuing education (CE) credits:
FP Canada: 3.5 hours (Financial Planning Category).
IIROC Cycle 8: PD Category, 2.5 hours.
IAFE: 4.0 hours accredited by The Institute.
ICS: 2.0 hours.
AAC Life: 2.0 hours.
