Critical Illness
The course “Critical Illness” is designed to strengthen your knowledge of critical illness and long-term care coverage and to help you apply that knowledge in practice. The course examines product structures, survival period provisions, underwriting criteria, benefit models, policy riders, and common exclusions. We also review how government programs and tax incentives interact with private insurance solutions.
Special attention is given to advising on children’s coverage, the unique features of long-term care policies, and the professional responsibility of addressing these topics with clients even when those conversations are difficult.
Whether you work with young families, clients preparing for retirement, or older clients concerned about future care, this course provides the framework needed to recommend, structure, and compare coverage options with clarity and confidence
