The course Federal Benefit Plans: OAS, CPP, and EI covers the three government benefit plans in great detail. From how one qualifies to how much and for how long they will receive benefits. For advisors who help their clients make the decision of when to begin OAS and CPP, we cover the factors to consider and crunch the numbers.
Very importantly, we cover the enhancements to the CPP which began in 2019 and why clients may experience tighter cash flows in the coming years.
