Mortgages & Mortgage Insurance
In the course Mortgages & Mortgages Insurance, we discuss the different types of mortgages and their attributes, how Canadians can qualify for a mortgage, the Home Buyers' Plan, the First-Home Savings Account, and the consequences of exiting a mortgage. On the insurance side, we discuss the types of life insurance available to mortgagees, and the required CMHC mortgage insurance.
We also compare what Canadians can do with excess savings: invest it or pay down their mortgage.
In order to receive CE credits, you will need to receive a mark of 9 out of 15 or higher on the quiz. This course qualifies for the following continuing education (CE) credits:
